Gamut is a spin-off company of the Politecnico di Torino which operates in the field of applied geophysics for the subsoil exploration using non-invasive methods and in the diagnostics of structures in the field of civil engineering.

Founded in 2009 to exploit the experience and the innovative contribution of the applied geophysics laboratory of the Department of Engineering for the Environment and the Territory (DITAG, now DIATI), Gamut was founded as a spin-off of the Politecnico di Torino and is characterized for the high skills in all geophysical survey techniques and the know-how in analysis processes based on the integration of different data.

Gamut address public authorities, engineering and geology companies, and freelances; in general, in all the areas in which a conceptual model of subsoil is to be defined and its interaction with existing or in-design structures.

The services offered by Gamut cover the search for the best solution according to the problem and the available budget, the survey design, the data acquisition, the processing, the report and the interpretation of the result, in a context of integration with previous or external information, also through non-conventional ad-hoc applications.

Gamut uses high-level resident software. The high experience of the members and the close collaboration with the scientific community allow the implementation of innovative algorithms for processing and analyzing data with high quality results.
