Electrical Surveys

The methodological principle is based on the measurement of an electric field generated in the ground by electrode devices. These devices consist in two pairs of electrodes fixed in the ground: first pair injects current as the second pair reads the voltage difference induced by the current. It is possible to measure the modification of the electric field induced by the change of the physical characteristic of the subsoil. The variation range is a function of the electrical resistivity contrast between different elements of the subsoil.
